Thankful for You.

"O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His lovingkindness is everlasting." 1 Chronicles 16:34

One thing stands out as we reflect on the people, events, and things we are thankful for during this season: those in our community. Christian Cottage Prep is so grateful for you and yours this season, and we pray that your Thanksgiving holiday is blessed. We meditate on how we can apply God's word to our everyday teaching for the students and how we can minister to each family as the school year progresses. We would like for you to join us in being thankful. We want to leave you with some food for thought as Thanksgiving approaches.

Psalm 95:1-7 says,

O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD,

Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,

Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

For the LORD is great God,

And a great King above all gods.

In whose hand are the depths of the earth,

The peaks of the mountains are His also.

The sea is His, for it was He who made it,

And His hands formed the dry land.

Come, Let us worship and bow down,

Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.

For He is our God,

And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.

After reading this scripture, we can see that God calls us to be thankful in our worship of Him. To help you meditate on these truths, here are some questions. Think about them yourself, share them with family and friends, or even feel free to leave a comment and answer them. We hope this is encouraging and helps deepen your prayers and meditations with the One and only God.

How has the Lord provided for you over this last year in a way that has helped you remember His faithfulness?

How has the Lord blessed you or your family this past year that you could not have accomplished alone?

How has the Lord increased or improved your understanding of Him and His Word this year?

What are you thankful for?

We pray your holiday is wonderful and look forward to seeing you back to bring the Christmas season together. Remember we have Deck the Halls event coming up to bring in the spirit of Christmas. Check out our calendar for details.
