Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!
Back to School is the New Black.
Hello, Christian Cottage Prep Community. We are so thankful you are here with us. We are a small community, but this Meet the Teacher was full of life and filled with the best kind of busy. It was so good to meet you, and we hope that each of you will be able to develop relationships over your time at our school. We hope to keep you updated here on the blog. In this post, we will review what happened at this event and look at what is to come.
Wonderful food shared with students and parents.
Mrs. Smith's Class
Lower elementary students found a super comfy environment to call their homeroom. If you did not get a chance to stop by and meet our newest teacher, be sure to look for her at our next event. Mrs. Smith went to school to teach theater.
We look forward to all she has to bring to our community this year. For Meet the Teacher, each student had a small activity to fill out to help get to know each other and help Mrs. Smith get to see each student.
Ms. Baron's Class
Ms. Baron is currently in school for her licensure, so she also had her meet the teacher this evening. Thank you for being so understanding as we grow our teachers, too. Upper elementary and middle school students have a bright folder they took home with information about grades and an information sheet to help Ms. Baron get to know each student. Please fill out the form and return it with the folder on Tuesday.
Mrs. Willis's Class
Mrs. Willis took time to review the Student Handbook. If you missed her classroom, sign the last page and return it Tuesday. The information in the handbook is essential to know, and it is equally important to review the rules with your students. Each student should have left with their schedule, and each parent was able to bring any questions to our Administrator all evening. We hope that your time was productive. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime.
Mr. Hartzer's Class
Mr. Hartzer's class was the favorite by far—beef hotdogs, baked beans, salad, and the best desserts this side of Texas filled the tables. There was an excellent opportunity for fellowship, and we hope each parent and student could take a moment to enjoy the meal and each other. Mr. Hartzer looks forward to working with each student for Science and higher-level Mathematics this year.
School Pictures by Jena Bridges!
Take advantage of this!
The 2023-2024 school pictures were taken by Ms. Bridges this evening. We will have a make-up day for those who could not attend. All photos will be ready to view within a few days. We encourage each family to review the pictures and order a copy to keep for your family albums. These are great to send to family and friends who want to pray for your child and care to have these special memories around. We have included the QR code for your convenience, but you will also receive an order paper with it as well after the first week of school.
This is Going to be a Great Year.
